['hɔu̯kxeːst], Gerard, niederländischer Maler und Stecher, * Den Haag um 1600, ✝ Bergen op Zoom August 1661; leitete mit seinen die Raumwirkung erfassenden Innenansichten holländische Kirchen (v. a. der Oude und Nieuwe Kerk in Delft) den letzten Höhepunkt des niederländischen Architekturbildes ein.
